Our Founder

Dr Ifeoma E. Nwafor is a Cyber Policy expert and principal partner at IEN Legal Associates with over 15 years of experience. She holds a PhD in Cyber Law from the University of Nigeria where she graduated with distinction. She is a lecturer in Law at Godfrey Okoye University, Nigeria and a European Union Eramus+ Scholar TH Köln, Germany (2022).

She has written and continues to write extensively in the cyber field and has authored several peer-reviewed publications in reputable international journals. Her latest book is entitled Cybercrime and the Law: Issues and Developments in Nigeria. She was a Finalist Women in Cybersecurity Awards Africa 2020.

She is a member of several regional and international organizations and committees, including UNODC Africa Women in Cyber Network Group, Governing Council of the Digital Rights Lawyer’s Initiative, the African Women in Security Network and the Cybersecurity Experts Association of Nigeria.

Dr Nwafor is passionate about bridging the gender gap in the cyber field and empowering women generally.
